What means of transport should I take from Quito to Riobamba to make my journey as pleasant as possible?(give a different answer) .
Take the Riobamba Express, a kind of bus-on-rails or autoferro, as the locals call it, departing from Quito every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. It's great, because you can sit on top of the train and enjoy some heart-stopping scenery. You'll cross the Avenue of Volcanoes, pass by the active Cotopaxi and Mount Chimborazo. In the end, you'll ride on a sort of engineering marvel, a series of switchback turns- the Devil's Nose. Still want to make the most out of your journey?:)
